![]() ![]() You should be able to specify the email address with no password during the stage of adding the shared mailbox and it should add it. Then add it as a new Exchange account in their Outlook profile. Wait for the mailbox to disappear from Outlook. You can give the user Full Access using a group instead of directly giving them rights. Try different ways of adding the shared mailbox because we have also seen that have an effect on Search. Make sure they are all running at least the following updates since these are required for proper operation with Exchange 2016. In your Outlook is your mailbox and the shared mailbox in Online mode or is yours in Online mode while the other one is in cached mode? Is that different than the other users? If this was a recent migration from an earlier version of Exchange, then make sure that all Search tasks are being performed by Exchange 2016 and that all the mailboxes of the affected users exist in 2016, not any database in a previous version.
